Hours: Minimum 36 hours/week to include days, weekends, and call rotation
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment.
- Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures.
- Operates film processing equipment.
- Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports. Participates in audits as required.
- Participates in quality control and quality assurance testing.
- Assists the supervising radiologist with administrative functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
- Possession of a CPR certification required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Prolonged standing.
- May require lifting of up to 50 pounds with assistance. When involved with patient handling tasks and weight to be lifted exceeds 35 lbs., assistive devices should be used. Routinely lift 10- 20 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, reach and lift at all heights.
- Requires ability to work under high stress emergency situations or among patients with serious illnesses or communicable diseases.
- Ability to establish working relationships with patients and staff.
- Respond to call back within 20 minutes.
Salary : $65,017 - $82,821
