Francis Marion University invites applications for a Temporary* Graduate Admissions Coordinator who will serve as a liaison between the academic departments and the office of admissions. This position will report to and work closely with the Vice President for Enrollment Management on a variety of projects related to, but also beyond the scope of, graduate admissions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Provide decision letters and other back-end support for academic departments, which possess the primary responsibilities of recruiting their students.
- Track applicants admitted students and other data, and participate in analyzing those data.
- Process applications and communicate with departments as needed.
- Assist with certain campus events, occasionally (though rarely) beyond regular workday hours.
- Counsel and provide information to prospective students about admissions processes.
- Research comparable graduate programs across the state.
- Participate in ongoing training to develop the professional skills needed for success in enrollment management.
- Attend meetings of the Admissions staff and contribute to team goals.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Salary: $35,000
- Note: This is a temporary position, and it is not covered by the state grievance policy. The duration of the position will depend upon the needs of the Admissions Department. Participation in the South Carolina State Retirement system and Health Insurance programs are optional.
