The Francis Marion Hotel has an immediate need for a Banquet Manager. As a Banquet Manager, you would be responsible for managing the daily execution of all banquet functions. Banquet Manager responsibilities include:
*Oversee the set up and breakdown of events.
*Interview and train banquet team members.
*Implement and monitor the banquet department budget.
*Manage expenses within the approved budget.
*Ensure compliance with health, safety standards.
*Achieve guest satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
*Meet or exceed financial goals.
*Recommend policy and procedural changes.
This job requires 2 years’ previous banquet management experience.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
Excellent communication and guest relation skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must work well in a fast-paced work environment.
Prior hotel banquet experience preferred.
