Primary Job Function
- Assist in daily operation of the accounting department. Make sure all work is completed in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
Principal functions of the job
Accounts receivable.
Assist with management of all group/travel agent/third party/Patriots club accounts within AR.
- Bill all accounts on a weekly basis.
- Ensure proper payments are received.
- Ensure AR tracking sheet is accurate.
- Report any delinquent accounts to the Controller.
- Assist in maintaining the Advanced Deposit ledger.
Secondary functions of the job
- Copy and file various reports and records.
- Assist with preparation of Daily Reports when needed.
- Assist with Accounts Payable and other accounting duties when needed.
Requirements of the job
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Accounting background preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
To: Ability to compile facts and figures
o Ability to operate a computer and calculator.
Telephone etiquette skills needed.
o Computer Technical knowledge.
Physical Demands in the Work Environment
Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, climb stairs, and lift up to twenty-five pounds.
