Purpose Statement

The Girls Golf Asst. Coach plays a pivotal role in shaping students' athletic development, fostering teamwork, and guiding athletes to excel both on and off the golf course. This position enhances the student experience through positive mentoring, skill-building, and a commitment to competitive golf.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive golf-specific training plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging team environment.
• Supervise golf practices, matches, and tournaments, prioritizing student safety and development.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
• Track and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to training plans as needed.
• Support students' personal and athletic growth.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong knowledge of golf techniques, rules, and competition regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  
  

Work Environment

• Primarily at local golf courses and school facilities.
• Collaborative work with athletic staff, students, and families.
  
  

Education and Experience

• Must have a Four-Year Degree OR
• Have served as an Approved Assistant Coach for a minimum of two school years.
