POSITION SUMMARY
Working under the supervision of our executive team, the Digital Media & Communications Coordinator Intern will support the strategic growth of Francis Construction Group by enhancing our online presence and brand voice. This role is perfect for an UNPAID intern looking to gain hands-on experience in digital communications, social media, and online marketing while contributing to the visibility of a growing construction company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and update the company website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and strong brand representation.
• Manage and grow our social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Develop marketing campaigns and materials to expand our reach on the internet
• Keep a pulse on surface trends and insights to identify engagement opportunities
• Track performance metrics across platforms and analyze trends to guide future content strategies
• Conduct research to identify opportunities for industry engagement, partnerships, and brand visibility.
• Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and brand standards across all external communications.
• Support the preparation of marketing collateral such as capability statements, project highlights, and presentation decks.
• Perform other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Some experience in social media management and website content maintenance required.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or similar web-building tools preferred.
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other digital design tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize workflows, manage deadlines, and work independently with guidance.
• Interest or background in architecture, construction, real estate development, or community impact work is a plus.
