What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Franchise Location?
Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, KMD Hospitality Management. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and repairing or replacing defective parts

- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to track work orders and document completed tasks
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with electrical systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
