What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse position at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital?
HOURS: Part-Full time; 3-5 days/week, varying shifts.
REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Registered Nurse degree through an accredited program. 1 year of general nursing experience preferred. Current CPR required, ACLS-preferred.
JOB SUMMARY:The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including patient care, patient/family education and transition of care utilizing the nursing process. Registered Nurse will be trained in the areas of Outpatient Surgery and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Recovery Room).
