Special Education paraprofessionals assist students in the classroom to allow students to be successful learners in all aspects of the day. Paras may work with students 1:1, in small groups, or assisting the classroom teacher. Paras assist with academic, behavior and health matters.
Part-time, School Year, Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 3 PM.
The pay range is under the Dover Paraeducators' Association CBA. The starting pay with no experience is $16.73 (Grade 2, Step 1). The steps are for years of experience. Holding a Para II certification would start at $19.97 (Grade 3, Step 1) with the steps allowing for years of experience.
