What are the responsibilities and job description for the Virginia Licensed Asbestos Project Monitor and/or Inspector position at France Environmental Inc?
Currently looking for a Virginia licensed (willing to train), full-time, Asbestos Project Monitor and/or Inspector in our Richmond, VA office to perform inspections and project monitoring duties for asbestos, lead pain and other hazardous materials abatement projects.
Responsibilities:
The Asbestos Project Monitor and/or Inspector will perform monitoring work, collect air, wipe and bulk samples for asbestos radon and lead analysis; operate industrial hygiene equipment, prepare drawings and routine reports and administrative and maintenance tasks. As our Environmental Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring project completion to ensure conformity to project design and take accurate field notes.
Position Requirements:
- Requires High School Diploma
- College Degree preferred but not required
- A current Asbestos Project Monitor License in the state of Virginia (willing to train)
- A valid driver's license
- Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in the building sciences or construction fields
- Microsoft Office experience (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
