Key Responsibilities
Customer Service (CSR) Duties:
- Serve as the face of the practice, providing compassionate communication both in person and over the phone.
- Manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate the daily calendar to ensure patient flow.
- Triage urgent care and emergency calls, guiding worried owners and informing the veterinary team.
- Process client invoices, explain treatment estimates, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication, strong multitasking ability, and computer proficiency (especially with veterinary practice software like Cornerstone).
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 20-30 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work comfortably around animals.
Part time hours Friday 9:00 am – 6 pm and Sat 8 am – 3:30 pm.
