The Opportunity
The Education Program Specialist plays a key role in bringing meaningful, high-impact programming to life in our partner schools and communities. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging, evidence-based services aligned with annual program goals, using best practices developed by Frameworks of Tampa Bay.
More than just implementing programs, you’ll help cultivate positive, thriving school environments by building strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and families. Through professional development, coaching, modeling, and thoughtfully selected resources, you’ll support educators in creating lasting change for students.
What You'll Do
· Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual workshops on emotional intelligence competencies for educators, families, and community members.
· Partner with the Education Programs Manager to tailor coaching, support, and program implementation for each school or organization.
· Build strong relationships with school leaders and educators to support the integration of emotional intelligence (EQ) into school culture.
· Lead interactive learning experiences and provide individualized coaching to help educators apply EQ in classrooms and leadership practices.
· Collaborate with educators to implement strategies that foster positive school climates, strengthen relationships, and support student well-being.
· Develop and share resources that promote students’ emotional growth and social skills.
· Collect and use program data to inform continuous improvement.
· Lead end-of-year partner conversations to set goals and define future program deliverables.
· Represent Frameworks with professionalism and contribute to organizational events and initiatives.
What You'll Bring
· Strong knowledge of emotional intelligence and its application in schools.
· Experience coaching or supporting educators and facilitating adult learning.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to adapt to diverse school environments and audiences.
· High emotional intelligence, with empathy, self-awareness, and adaptability.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· A collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, public/mental health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Elementary teaching experience preferred.
· Experience designing and delivering adult learning experiences.
· Bilingual skills a plus.
· Local travel up to 50% and occasional evening events.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
Supervision
Receives direct supervision from the Education Programs Manager.
Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. After 90 days, there is an option for 20% remote work when applicable and approved by supervisor.
