What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Picture Framer and Designer position at Frames Unlimited?
Frames Unlimited is located in Charleston, SC. We have been in business since 1979. We are currently looking for a creative type to join our small team. We are currently hiring for a full-time picture framer and designer. Any framing experience is welcome but not required. Any background in the arts and/or interior design is a bonus. We are looking for a responsible adult that is willing to grow with the shop. Someone who is hard working, creative, has a good eye for design and is willing to learn. Some of the responsibilities you will have will include, customer interaction and frame design as well as assembling and completing framing jobs.
Job Responsibilities:
· Ability to multitask and be self-motivating
· Have good attention to detail
· Willing to learn
· Being comfortable working directly with clients
· Able to stand for 8 hours daily
· Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more
· Making and receiving calls
Job Qualifications:
· Previous custom framing welcomed but not required
· Excellent customer service
· Organized and detailed
· References Required
Job Type:
· $18/hr. depending upon framing experience and skills.
· Position is Tuesday – Friday 9:00 – 5:30 and Saturday 10:00 – 4:00
