We’re looking for an Inbound Call Center Assistant to join our Cincinnati team. As an Inbound Call Center Assistant, you’ll be the first person customers speak with when they call in. Your role is to listen, understand their questions or concerns, and provide reliable, friendly support. You’ll also help keep records organized, assist with follow-up, and work closely with the rest of the team to ensure every caller has a smooth experience.
What You’ll Do as an Inbound Call Center Assistant
Customer Interaction
- Answer inbound phone calls with a friendly, professional tone
- Listen closely to understand what each caller needs
- Provide accurate information about products, orders, or services
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and guide callers through simple steps
- Route complex questions to the correct team
- Follow up to ensure customers receive complete and timely support
Administrative Support
- Record call details, updates, and notes accurately
- Track order or service requests from start to finish
- Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and email communication
- Help maintain organized records, reports, and documentation
- Work with internal departments to keep information accurate and consistent
Customer Care & Coordination
- Resolve caller issues with patience and attention to detail
- Support returns, exchanges, or adjustments when needed
- Ensure callers feel supported and valued throughout the process
- Collaborate with team members to improve the overall customer experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Friendly, reliable, and able to remain calm in fast-paced situations
- Good attention to detail and strong follow-through
Preferred Experience
- Experience in call centers, support lines, or phone-based customer service
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems
- Previous work in retail, sales, or customer-facing roles
