What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Finance Associate position at Fragile?
About Fragile
Fragile is redefining how hardware is built, financed, and distributed. Whether it’s risk modeling, capital markets, consumer experiences, or mass-scale refurbishment, we’re building the infrastructure that the hardware industry runs on.
We’re a small team based in SF and NYC that relentlessly values talent density. We work across disciplines, reason deeply, move with urgency, and build for the real world. With investors including Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed, and Benchmark, we’re building long-term infrastructure.
As we expand our portfolio and product offerings, we’re scaling our finance team to deliver actionable insights to our GTM, portfolio, and executive teams. This role will produce deep analyses of our core unit economics and portfolio performance, enabling better, faster decisions across each of our merchant partnerships.
About The Role
You’ll support ongoing projects and help guide company trajectory. You will develop financial modeling and scenario planning across partner diligence, merchant performance, and enterprise-level forecasts. Your analysis will inform teams across the business on what’s working, what isn’t, and where we can improve.
This role requires strong ownership of details and the ability to translate complexity into clear, decision-ready outputs. We’re a lean team with frequent exposure to senior leadership and external partners. While you’ll sit within our growing finance organization, you’ll also support GTM initiatives as needed.
Minimum Requirements
This role is full-time and in person at our San Francisco office.
