Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Greet customers, providing friendly and professional assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including counting cash and giving correct change
- Communicate with Commercial Account holders to approve transactions when needed
- Review company vouchers to ensure only approved items are being purchased
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
- Ability to perform basic merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Comfortable engaging with customers
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
