This position is responsible for producing precision-formed metal components that support the manufacturing of vehicle assemblies and custom transportation equipment. What You'll Do
- Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components to specification.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and production instructions.
- Verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Inspect completed parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Load, unload, and organize materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify quality concerns and communicate issues to supervisors.
- Utilize production documentation and work order systems as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:What We're Looking For
- Experience operating press brake equipment preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and metal fabrication.
- Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
Bonus Qualifications
- Press brake setup experience.
- CNC press brake programming experience.
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, or mild steel.
- Previous fabrication or welding environment experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and heavier materials with assistance.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
