Supervisor

Ferrous Processing and Trading, a business of Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, has an immediate opportunity for a Supervisor at our Miami, FL operation. The Supervisor is responsible for daily operations at the site and personnel management. Summary of Responsibilities: Assign and schedule daily tasks and workloads to meet production goals. Ensure all materials, equipment, and tools are available and in working order. Confer with plant personnel and plans and allocates the use of materials, handling equipment such as conveyors, cranes, tractors, and trucks. Inspect incoming materials and verify invoices. Inspect machines and equipment and directs workers engaged in maintenance and repair work. Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations. Interpret job orders to workers and assign duties. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Maintain time and production records. Work with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Previous supervisor experience. Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making. Collaborative; builds and works with teams. Ability to coach and mentor.
