What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Project Engineer position at FPC of Wake Forest?
FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Sr. Project Engineer for a great client. Working in the commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural space, this company provides architectural and engineering services that are focused on creating functional, energy-efficient, and durable designs.
So, what will you be doing as Sr. Project Engineer?
-Review and certify building structural plans and truss designs
-Conduct structural calculations for building project permitting and construction
-Offer cost effective design and construction solutions
-Be an engineering and building code resource throughout the life cycle of a project (presale, design, and construction)
What you will need to be successful:
-BS in Engineering
-Hold a Professional Engineer (PE), or Structural Engineer (SE) license in at least one state with the ability to certify in other states
-Direct experience in the design of wood, metal, and/or concrete structures
-Knowledge of codes and standards IBC, ASCE 7, NDS, ACI, and AISC
-Previous experience in construction project management
-Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
Things considered a plus:
-MBA
-PMP certification
