The Production Supervisor provides leadership and coordination for assigned production areas, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to safety and quality standards, and alignment with Lean manufacturing principles. This role supervises team leads and front-line employees.
Location: Chittenden County, Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Supervise team leads and production employees (~25 employees) in metal fab/assembly plant (fab/weld, coat, assembly, ship)
- Drive labor efficiency and productivity performance to meet on-time delivery commitments.
- Build a high-performing workforce through coaching & a "lead from the front" leadership approach
- Hours: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am, Friday as an Overtime day (typically run 3 Fridays/month w/ rotational schedule for supervisors)
Qualifications
- 2 years manufacturing leadership experience
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Metal fab experience strongly preferred, but leadership skills more important than product experience
Comp: Hourly, so you are getting paid for every minute you put in! Target range is $36-44/hr 5-8% discretionary bonus (Comp tied directly to experience- candidates with lean training have potential to come in at top/over this band. We reward results!)
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
