Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and employees, partnering with the business to drive talent strategies, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. This role provides both strategic and hands-on HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.



Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational goals
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning efforts to ensure a strong talent pipeline
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Partner with leadership on change management initiatives, organizational design, and workforce optimization
  • Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improving employee performance, retention, and engagement
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Collaborate with business leaders on compensation, performance reviews, and talent development programs
  • Support leave administration, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes as needed
  • Maintain HR records, systems, and reporting while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment
  • Strong employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching experience
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing environment and requires regular interaction with production employees, supervisors, managers, and site leadership. The HRBP must be comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on employee support and operational execution.

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
