Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and employees, partnering with the business to drive talent strategies, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. This role provides both strategic and hands-on HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with plant and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational goals
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning efforts to ensure a strong talent pipeline
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Partner with leadership on change management initiatives, organizational design, and workforce optimization
- Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improving employee performance, retention, and engagement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Collaborate with business leaders on compensation, performance reviews, and talent development programs
- Support leave administration, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes as needed
- Maintain HR records, systems, and reporting while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
- Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment
- Strong employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching experience
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
