Privately-held manufacturer specializing in the design and production of cooling pumps systems and integrated assemblies for data centers. Team is seeking an Operations Manager/GM to oversee operations at this site. Preferably looking for team member with demonstrated leadership in fabrication, welding, equipment assembly, production flow or in a assembly environment. Above all must be a leader of people - superlative supervisory and training experience. This individual will lead a team of (80) full time employees with responsibility for daily production targets, project management, quality, and scheduling
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of site with focus on quality and productivity
- Hire and train operations team members across production, supply chain, materials, and quality
- Partner with Engineering and Executive leadership in development, tracking and execution of operations metrics (KPIs)
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
- Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Manage budget to align with goals of business
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in leadership role within manufacturing environment
- Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or assembly environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of structural and code welding
- Strong project management experience
- Knowledge of piping and structural materials to include sizes, schedules, and weights (preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Understanding of equipment assembly and production flow
- Strong ability to multitask
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
