Our client is a global beauty and personal care company looking for a Quality Associate. This person will support the management of quality and compliance for our global product suppliers, with specific responsibility for those in the LATAM region. This role involves maintaining quality assurance processes and systems, managing investigations, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- :Own the end-to-end first production approval process for US product suppliers, including coordinating and tracking approvals. Review batch production documentation and stability studies, ensure timely completion of all required activities, and escalate any risks or concerns as appropriate
- .Maintain specifications to ensure that suppliers consistently meet our quality and safety requirements
- .Act as the primary quality contact for LATAM-based suppliers, leading the resolution of supplier quality issues through root cause analysis, implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and ensuring timely and effective closure
- .Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing feedback and guidance to suppliers to drive continuous improvement
- .Foster strong relationships with suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for quality- related matters, conducting regular meetings, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration
- .Lead the UL ongoing production testing programme, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- .Support change control and deviation management processes, including completing risk assessments and ensuring appropriate documentation and evidence of compliance
- .Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as NPD, Sourcing and Regulatory, to ensure supplier quality needs are effectively communicated and integrated into our product development and production processes
- .Compile and maintain essential supplier documentation, including certificates of conformance, certificates of analysis, and product declarations required for product registration and sale
- .Coordinate inspection activities, including product holds and quarantine shipments where required
- .Support line trials, validations and first production runs through attendance and review of required documentation
