What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager/GM position at FPC National?
Privately-held manufacturer specializing in the design and production of equipment such as LACT Units and pump packages. Team is seeking an Operations Manager/GM to oversee operations at this site. Preferably looking for team member with demonstrated leadership in fabrication, welding, equipment assembly, production flow or in a assembly environment. Above all must be a leader of people - superlative supervisory and training experience. Excellent communication (written and verbal).
Responsibilities
- Manage team of 75 employees
- Lead daily operations of site with focus on quality and productivity
- Hire and train operations team members across production, supply chain, materials, and quality
- Partner with Engineering and Executive leadership in development, tracking and execution of operations metrics (KPIs)
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
- Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Manage budget to align with goals of business
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in leadership role within manufacturing environment
- Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or assembly environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of piping and structural materials to include sizes, schedules, and weights (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
