An international manufacturer is seeking a Production Operations Manager to provide leadership within a large-scale manufacturing operation in the greater Lafayette, Indiana area. What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day leadership for Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and hourly manufacturing personnel.
- Monitor production metrics and operational performance to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
- Identify process constraints and implement corrective actions to increase productivity.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using root cause analysis and 5S methodologies.
- Promote a culture focused on operational excellence, accountability, and workplace safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Approximately 5-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in Production, Operations, or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated success leading supervisors, team leaders, and production teams.
- Experience driving improvements in safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and workplace organization.
- Background in automotive manufacturing or another fast-paced, high-volume production environment is highly preferred.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel to analyze production data, monitor performance, and create reports.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing blueprints.
- A college degree is not required. We value practical leadership experience and a proven record of success in manufacturing.
- Must be able to commute to the Lafayette, Indiana area.
