Join a leading U.S. manufacturing facility specializing in special-purpose vehicles—including tractors, farm equipment and related manufacturing.
The Production Control | Materials Manager is responsible for the scheduling of various assembly lines based upon customer orders, inventory and manufacturing capacity.
Job Function:
- Manage a team of Planners & Schedulers - manage production schedules of various assembly lines and related inventory.
- Analyze customer orders to lead efforts for production schedules - Plan and prioritize production activities to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
- Work closely with purchasing, inventory and production managers to align materials availability with production schedules.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in customer demand or supply chain constraints.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
- 7 years of experience in production scheduling, materials management, or related areas.
- Proven leadership in managing planning, scheduling, inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems.
- Strong familiarity with MS Excel - Pivot Tables, V-Lookup and ability to use MS Excel to track various projects/items.
- Prior experience in Automotive industry is a huge plus.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to drive alignment and results.
- Hands-on experience in scheduling in a high volume setting is highly preferred.
- College degree is not essential, but is a plus,
