Who We Are:
FPA Women’s Health provides full spectrum diagnostic, preventive and reproductive health services to more than 150,000 patients a year throughout the state of California. Our 30 highly skilled and experienced Gynecologists and Advanced Practitioners deliver sensitive, compassionate and patient centered care and education through 25 care centers, many in rural and under-served communities. The Care Coordinator effectively communicates, manages, and organizes all aspects of the patient encounter to ensure the optimal patient care experience. The Care Coordinator is the patient’s primary advocate and contact with FPA, welcoming each patient to the organization, encouraging confidence in the care received. The Care Coordinator supports patient engagement and provides general health education so patients are optimally prepared to discuss their healthcare objectives and agree on a care plan with their providers.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required.
- Current BLS Certificate required.
- Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
- Possess a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to relate to diverse communities.
- Possess a warm and caring manner.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of patient information and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
