Salary Details
Total compensation is comprised of approximately 3/4 Salary and 1/4 Annual Incentive based on attaining both individual & group sales goals.
Primary Functions
Financial Advisors will be expected to gather new clients and new assets from leads provided. The Financial Advisor meets with prospective members, to collect and discuss financial information (assets, income, debt, cash flow, tax status, retirement saving, insurance and financial objectives). Next the Financial Advisor analyzes the information collected to develop individualized strategies and recommendations on the enrollment of investments and/or insurance that are in the client’s best interest.
Financial advisors are expected to meet periodically with current clients, benefit members and prospects to review their accounts. The advisor will ensure that investments still meet the client objectives and uncover new opportunities.
Secondary Functions
Advisor will conduct seminars on various financial topics including retirement planning, social security, life/long term care insurance etc. Advisor will also be expected to provide customer service for GEBA’s $260,000,000 of legacy fixed annuity products as well as act as contributing member of the GEBA team in any capacity necessary to benefit the organization and membership.
Travel
Very little travel is required, typically less than twice per year. Local travel may be required to support GEBAs marketing events or a client meeting.

- Excels in a team environment.
- Experience with MoneyGuidePro or other Financial Planning software
