What You'll Do


You will support production quality and ensure compliance with established standards by:



  • Creating and managing work orders and filling documentation aligned to the production schedule

  • Maintaining retains, including collection, tracking, organization, and storage

  • Issuing deviations and partnering with QA to resolve issues

  • Addressing on-floor and QC inspection concerns, including labeling, placement, and quality issues

  • Inspecting and approving incoming components and evaluating questionable parts, escalating as needed

  • Establishing and training on sensory standards for finished goods

  • Reviewing batch records and providing second sign-off

  • Completing changeover documentation for production runs

  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking systems

  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying issues and reinforcing quality standards


What You'll Bring



  • 1–3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment

  • Associate or technical degree preferred

  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GDP standards, and quality systems

  • Experience with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and placement gauges

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer systems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules


Physical Demands



  • Vision Requirements: This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

  • Color Differentiation: The role requires the ability to visually compare colors against established reference standards, including standard color solutions or approved reference materials. The position also requires the ability to accurately identify color-coded labels, status tags, and chemical hazard warnings within the work environment.

  • Sensory Evaluation (Odor Detection): The position may require the ability to detect and differentiate odors during the evaluation of raw materials and finished products in accordance with applicable USP monographs and/or internal testing specifications. This includes identifying unexpected or out-of-specification (OOS) odors that may indicate contamination, degradation, or spoilage.

  • Material/Product Appearance Evaluation: The position requires the ability to visually evaluate the appearance of raw materials and finished products as required by applicable USP monographs and internal testing specifications, including identifying irregularities or deviations from established standards.
