Position Summary:
The Golf Course Operations Associate helps maintain a clean and organized clubhouse, assists with golf cart upkeep, supports bar operations, and provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Clubhouse & Facility Cleaning:
- Perform daily vacuuming and sweeping in high-traffic areas to maintain a clean environment.
- Wipe down tables, chairs, and countertops throughout the day.
- Regularly clean restrooms, including restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Remove trash from clubhouse, patio, and outdoor areas, ensuring waste bins are emptied as needed.
- Leaf blow the patio and surrounding walkways to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Organize storage areas, dust fixtures, and assist with light furniture moving as needed.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically, such as window washing and carpet cleaning.
Golf Cart Maintenance:
- Conduct basic checks on carts, including battery levels, tires, and fuel.
- Keep carts clean by wiping down seats, dashboards, and removing trash.
- Ensure carts are parked properly and ready for use, especially during peak play days.
Customer Service & Support:
- Stock bar and clubhouse supplies as needed, especially during busy periods.
- Assist with customer purchases at both the golf shop and bar.
- Operate ball-picking equipment to restock the driving range.
- Run errands such as picking up supplies when requested.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all members and guests.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite, point-of-sale systems).
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Prior cleaning or hospitality experience is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of golf or golf course operations is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements & Schedule:
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and weekdays between 8 AM - 7 PM as needed. Weekend and some Holiday work is required.
- Prefer candidates 21 for alcohol service, but all applicants will be considered.
