Job Overview
Pro Shop Attendent. Afternoon shifts typically from 1pm-8/9pm. Looking for anywhere between 3-5 days per week. Job responsibilities include closing the golf shop, checking in players, overseeing cart staff, good customer service, professional atmosphere, good communication skills, answering phones, taking tee times, running POS system
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience at the pro shop and surrounding facilities
- Manage retail sales by processing cash transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash and credit payments efficiently
- Assist in organizing and supporting events, including setup, guest management, conflict resolution, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or supplies, adhering to safety standards to prevent injury
- Monitor outdoor work areas for safety hazards, enforce safety protocol adherence, and respond promptly to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary
- Support event venue operations by coordinating guest services, managing crowd control, and providing information about activities or schedules
- Maintain cleanliness, organization of retail inventory, and ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order
