The Elementary School at FRCS serves approximately 750 students in grades K-4. The 80 staff members in the Elementary School are dedicated, collaborative, and compassionate educators and faculty that strive to provide all students with the tools needed to become successful global citizens. Job Summary: 

The Kindergarten Paraprofessional will assist lead teachers in providing a high quality educational experience designed to meet the needs of all children in the classroom. 

Responsibilities:

• Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings
• Provides assistance with classroom activities.
• Prepares instructional materials.
• Assists in classroom set up and clean up.
• Supervises students in and out of the classroom.
• Performs other related duties as requested by Headmaster/Principal.

Qualifications- Required:

• Education:  Minimum 48 College Credits or Passing Score on the ParaPro Assessment
• Candidates are subject to background checks including CORI Clearance and Fingerprinting.
• Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.

Qualifications- Preferred:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working in an urban school district
