What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education High School Teacher - Inclusion (2026-2027 School Year) position at Foxborough Public Schools?
Foxborough High School is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Inclusion Special Educator. Foxborough High School is a dynamic educational environment for approximately 700 students and 90 staff members. Within the faculty at FHS, there is a strong culture of collaboration in support of students and colleagues, and teachers report that they have high expectations for students and a well-developed curriculum. In our annual climate and culture surveys, FHS teachers report that they believe the faculty works together to help students meet challenging academic goals and know what they need to know to be successful in the next grade level.
The successful candidate must be a strong, inclusive educator who can effectively promote student growth across their caseload of approximately 15 students and in co-teaching environments. Applicants must also be strong communicators, have a demonstrated track record of working collaboratively with co-teachers, members of a student’s IEP Team, students, and families in support of students’ individualized educational plans, and have a passion for working with high school-aged students of all abilities.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
•Prioritize relationship-building with students and families
•Are dually certified in Special Education and Math or Science, or have a strong background in teaching Math or Science
•Possess strong writing skills and attention to detail
