Job Summary
Foxborough Public Schools is seeking dependable and safety-minded individuals to serve as Crossing Guards. Crossing Guards play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students, families, and community members as they travel to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Safely assist students in crossing designated streets and intersections.
- Monitor traffic conditions and follow established crossing procedures.
- Promote safe pedestrian and bicycle practices.
- Report safety concerns, traffic issues, or incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with students, families, staff, and motorists.
- Perform duties in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive in a busy traffic environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.
- Successful completion of a CORI/background check.
Schedule
- School days only.
- Morning and afternoon shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25 - $22.00 per hour
