Title: Maintenance Manager (MM)
Reports To: Director of Property Management (DPM)
Supervises: Maintenance Techs (MT) / Maintenance Coordinator (MC)
PAY: Based on Experience
The Maintenance Manager (MM) supports the company by overseeing all functions of the maintenance department. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and appearance of all properties, ensuring that they remain in compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
The maintenance manager oversees all aspects of facility, inventory and equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Key responsibilities include leading and training maintenance staff, managing the department, and creating preventative maintenance schedules. They also ensure compliance with all safety regulations and lead efforts to improve maintenance processes and systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
Ø Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience
Ø Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience.
Ø Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Outlook (Required)
Ø Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and organization
Ø Ability to follow direction and work well either alone or as part of a team
Ø Strong organization, written, and oral communication are a must
Ø The ability to multitask while in a fast-paced environment
Ø Timeliness, quality, accuracy, etc. are important to this role. Attendance, punctuality, positive outlook and attitude, and the passion to turn challenges into opportunities are vital attributes necessary to be successful in this position.
Ø Facilitates communication and smooth workflow within and between groups.
Ø Deliver solutions and services to internal and external customers which consistently exceed expectations
