ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide general office information, direct and make appointment for all visitors and staff with appropriate manager in Global Education Center and during training.
- Assist with organizing and supporting international student activities on campus including but not limited to airport arrivals and departures.
- Assure that appropriate facilities, audiovisual equipment, hospitality, materials, supplies, and presenter travel needs for seminars, workshops, office needs are handled.
Add and update student lead and application information in the CRM.
- Support international recruitment planning through tasks involving implementation and evaluation of recruiting and enrollment strategies.
- Assist with the monitoring and reporting of all Global Education grants and independent international students.
- Provide timely assistance to the needs of international students through a thorough knowledge of the College policies and FVTC academic and / or administrative entities to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness for international students, whether prospective, current, or past students.
- Work collaboratively on an integrated basis with other areas of the College to best support the international student population and needs.
- Support and plan for student engagement activities which will promote cultural competency and broaden international student US experiences.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of communication plans to engage with international students throughout the enrollment funnel.
- Coordinate payments to agency partners and organizations.
- Assist with the collection and retention of international student documents
- Support students enrolled in the Intensive English Program by providing information on term course offerings and certificate progression.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinate and assist management staff with all international student responsibilities including targeted phone calls, email campaigns, and other activities.
Support Global Ed operations with visitors and staff as needed.
Provide support and assistance in email marketing campaigns, social media, and updating the website.
Provide back up for Global Education Administrative Staff in providing customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of recent, related work experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are preferred. Experience in PeopleSoft and CRM is preferred.
- Experience with marketing campaigns and using platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram preferred.
- Valid Driver's License is required, and successful candidate must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record check.
