Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Hand Tool Repair/Calibration Technician to join our team. We'd love to hear from you if this aligns with your career goals!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Repair, test, and calibrate instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements including but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, bore gages, indicators, height gages.· Maintain accurate documentation of repair activities.· Develop procedures and recommend standards to enhance repair efficiency.· Collaborate in a team environment while delivering tasks efficiently and with the highest quality.· Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities:· Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking and customer service skills.· Hand tool usage experience.· Previous repair experience or background.· Basic low voltage electrical knowledge preferred.Education and Experience:· High School Diploma or GED required.· 1 year of relevant experience in calibrating test and measurement equipment is preferred.· Machine shop or structured maintenance and repair background preferred.Benefits:· Full Health and Dental Insurance· Short-Term Disability· Paid Holidays and Two Weeks of Paid Time Off after completion of a 120-day probationary period· 401(k) program with up to 4% company matchFox Valley Metrology is an Equal Opportunity EmployerFox Valley Metrology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
