Fund Development Coordinator

Position Summary
The Fund Development Coordinator plays a key role in advancing the mission of Fox Valley Memory Project by supporting and implementing fundraising strategies that sustain and grow the organization’s programs. This position is responsible for coordinating donor engagement, managing fundraising campaigns, assisting with grant processes, and supporting events that build community awareness and financial support.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Donor Relations
- Support the planning and execution of annual fundraising strategies
- Manage donor database, including gift entry, acknowledgments, and reporting
- Assist in cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Coordinate donor communications, including appeals, newsletters, and impact updates
Grants & Reporting
- Assist with grant research, application preparation, and reporting
- Track deadlines and maintain grant calendar
- Support collection of program data and outcomes for proposals and reports
Events & Campaigns
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and community outreach activities
- Support event sponsorship outreach and follow-up
- Assist with peer-to-peer and annual giving campaigns
Communications & Outreach
- Collaborate on messaging that shares FVMP’s impact and mission
- Support social media, website updates, and marketing efforts related to development
- Help increase community awareness of programs and fundraising initiatives
Administrative & Strategic Support
- Maintain organized development records and systems
- Assist with reporting and tracking fundraising progress toward goals
- Support development planning and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit work preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with donor databases or CRM systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Passion for FVMP’s mission and supporting individuals affected by memory loss
Work Schedule and Benefits:
This full-time, salaried (exempt) position follows a standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend commitments throughout the year to support events and organizational needs.
FVMP offers a competitive salary range of $54,000–$60,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, a retirement savings plan, short-term disability coverage, and generous earned time off.
