Field Safety Inspector
Full Time (40 Hrs Weekly), M-F, 6am typical start time
Exempt
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the fire protection and life safety industry.
- Lead and drive safety compliance among all field technicians.
- Conduct routine field inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare detailed reports on HSE performance, trends, and incidents.
- Audit job sites to evaluate tools, equipment, materials, and personnel activities for safety and health compliance.
- Collaborate with employees to develop solutions that improve workplace safety and reduce operational risk.
- Maintain positive, professional working relationships with internal departments, customers, and external partners.
- Support return-to-work processes for employees on leave due to workplace injuries or illnesses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to understand and interpret OSHA 29 CFR 1910 & 1926; knowledge of confined space procedures preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in Safety, Construction, or related fields is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong prioritization and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must lead by example and consistently enforce company safety policies.
- Ability to multitask, visit multiple job sites daily, and tolerate extensive road travel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical and non-technical information clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Regular walking, standing, and bending.
- Frequent sitting and driving.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to climb ladders and operate or work from aerial lifts.
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in varying outdoor weather conditions.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire (company will assist).
- Additional safety training, technical coursework, or certifications strongly preferred.

Compensation: This role is salaried with estimated salary range between $45,000-$55,000 based on experience. Full benefits are offered. Company vehicle to be provided.
