About the Role

FOX 9/KMSP is looking for a dynamic Reporter with raging curiosity, edgy storytelling instincts, and a standout on-camera presence. We want journalists who aggressively pursue enterprise stories, excel in live situations, and thrive in the LIVE streaming space—not just traditional TV news.

What You’ll Do

• Pitch and produce impactful enterprise stories.
• Deliver strong live reporting across TV, digital, and streaming platforms.
• Build and maintain your own sources to break meaningful news.
• Use modern newsgathering technology to create real-time content.
• Write, present, and produce compelling stories in both scripted and unscripted formats.
• Collaborate with a forward-thinking newsroom and support its evolving vision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• 3 years of reporting experience in a competitive news environment.
• Strong live reporting skills and editorial judgment.
• Demonstrated success developing sources and creating original content.
• Proficiency with digital tools, streaming platforms, and newsroom tech.
• B.A. in Journalism or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for compelling storytelling.

Schedule

Full-time with flexibility for mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
