What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Content Creator position at Fox Street Studio?
Fox Street Studio shoots photo, video, and drone for real estate agents across the Hudson Valley and Westchester. We're busy, we're growing, and we're looking to add a photographer to the team.
About you
You do not need to be a photographer. Seriously. We will train you on everything technical.
What we can't train is how you are with people. You'll be in someone's home, often with the agent standing right there, sometimes with the sellers still packing boxes in the next room. We need someone who's easy to be around, reads a room well, and makes agents look good in front of their clients.
If you've worked in food service, retail, hospitality, or anything else where you dealt with customers all day, that's the experience we care about.
What you'd be doing
- Shooting interior and exterior photos of listings
- Drone photo and video once you're licensed
- Video walkthroughs once you're trained up
- Being the face of our business at every shoot
Pay and how it works
- Start at $25/hr for time on site
- $30/hr once you pass your FAA Part 107 drone exam
- $35/hr once you're cleared to shoot video
- 30 cents per mile for all driving, reimbursed and untaxed
We pay for time on site, not drive time. The mileage reimbursement covers the travel.
Be aware of this before you apply
Our hours follow the real estate market. In busy season there's plenty of work and you can put in real hours. In slow months there will be days with no shoots at all. We are upfront about this from day one.
This works best as a flexible second income. Most of our photographers have something else going on that they can schedule around.
