Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Wilmington, DE office for a Litigation Associate with two to four years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Delaware.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Experience in the Delaware Court of Chancery and Superior Court Complex Commercial Division required.
- Familiarity with corporate governance disputes, fiduciary duty litigation, and bankruptcy-related claims is a plus.
- Large law firm and clerkship experience preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
Visual Acuity
- Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
