Harvest Cook | Job Description
Introduction
This role is a part of the Harvest / Huerta / Fox Point Pizza program. These are our three core operations on site here at Fox Point Farms, featuring seasonal menus highlighting Mexican heritage cuisine, artisanal pizza, and more classic market offerings including sandwiches, salads, soups and the like. You will be primarily a member of the Harvest Cafe outlet.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assembling and packaging sandwiches, toasts, salads and toasts within our program, including high quality imported ingredients and fresh produce from the Farm
- Following health and safety regulations as pertains to safe food handling
- Following all procedures for setting up, cooking, and serving the menu as assigned
- Maintaining and cleaning all equipment required for performing your job duties
- Communicating professionally with both team members and guests at our establishment
- Supporting other outlets as needed
- Participating and contributing to the culture of hospitality we want to provide for our guests and community, in alignment with our company’s core values
In addition to these outlined responsibilities, the operation of a restaurant like ours demands flexibility from all of our team members. With private events, catering, concerts, and holiday special events, you can expect there to be opportunities for learning and professional development almost every day here at Fox Point Farms.
There are currently hours available for this job between 28 hours a week, with a 7 day operating schedule there is good flexibility, but preference is for at least four days of availability, primarily 3PM and later. Please feel free to ask in your interview or orientation day.
