POSITION Description
The Head Associate/Supervisor assists in the running the theater’s daily operations on specified shifts including managing the building and the staff and taking responsibility for customer care, as well as to prepare and show films and other content throughout the theater and to provide technical and maintenance support as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Make certain guest service is friendly, helpful, and performed in a timely manner.
2. Perform all Guest Service Associate duties as identified in the Guest Service Associate job description.
3. Ensure proper training of all employees.
4. Supervise subordinate staff, direct and delegate duties in absence of General Manager/Assistant Manager.
5. Maintain facilities in a condition that is clean, safe and in good repair.
6. Assist managers with ordering and receiving merchandise as needed.
7. Provide an experience that is comfortable and distraction-free.
8. Assist with office duties and other functions as instructed by the General Manager/Assistant Manager.
9. Other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
1. Basic knowledge of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations and complete cash transactions.
2. Demonstrate computer proficiency to operate and utilize various computer systems and programs including point-of-sale (POS), word processing, and spreadsheets and be able to learn specialized software specific to the position.
3. Demonstrated supervisory experience including staff supervision, monitoring, purchasing, pricing, inventory and great customer service skills.
4. Able to politely and effectively communicate with the general public and vendors.
5. Able to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, nights and overtime, meet strict work schedule start times and work on-call as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduation from High School or equivalent, plus
2. Six (6) months previous successful experience working in a hospitality, entertainment or retail business.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position; able to work successfully in a fast paced environment; frequently sit and stand; occasionally walk bend/stoop, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel and push/pull; carry or lift thirty-five (35) pounds of supplies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85 - $19.32 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 29 per week
