What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Fox-Mar Group?
Duties:
-Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility.
- Handle heavy lifting (50lbs) and moving of furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed (on occasion).
- Maintain a quiet, calm, and welcoming environment; entertain facility residents.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to take care of animals and remain overnight on site as needed (after your trial period ends).
-Ability to stay calm, regulated, and present.
-This is not full time work, but it is reliable... as long as you are. Ideal for a student, formerly incarcerated, undocumented/refugee, parent without reliable childcare, someone who likes animals but cannot or does not want to keep their own animals.
Requirements:
-Reliable
- Willing and able to work near, around, or with dogs.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Transportation (to be able to get to/from this location).
Bonus:
-Involvement with AKC events.
-Free on the weekends
