What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff - Short Order Cook position at Fox Lea Cafe?
Short order cook wanted. Our cafe' is only open during events at our facility (We hold 43 to 45 events a year). Many of our events are 2 to 3 weeks long, others can be 9 weeks long and some are Friday through Sunday. ALL EVENTS INCLUDE WEEKENDS. The Cafe is closed in between events.
There are both full day and partial day shifts. Hours are usually 6:30/7:00am to late afternoon.
Experience with a flat-top grill and deep fat fryer. Must have knife and general cooking skills. Each menu item is made to order. Can be fast paced at times and some longer days during special events. You will also clean and re-preps throughout the day plus assist with other kitchen tasks.
Dress is casual, neat and clean - suitable for a family venue.
Must have a valid driver's license. We do run background checks.
