Baker at Commercial Kitchen - Part-Time Availability

As a Bakery Production Team Member you will identify and select ingredients, prepare, and assemble items in our pastry and Viennoiserie departments. At Fox in the Snow we bake everything from scratch and use high quality ingredients. Our bakery production team members must thrive in a fast-paced work environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards for the entire kitchen and dish area. Most importantly, they must take pride in what they do and be team player.

We are currently looking for a part-time team member to join our sheeter team. The sheeter team is primarily responsible for using a commercial sheeter to roll, laminate, and cut dough following specific guidelines. This shift runs from 5 AM to 1 PM.

Benefits and Pay:

• Starts at $18.00/ hour

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate a commercial sheeter to roll, laminate, and cut dough according to guidelines
• Scale given recipes to match production needs
• Assemble and prepare pastry
• Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards (FDA/ODA Guidelines)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Shift Requirements:

• Weekend availability is required. Looking to fill a part-time position.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently arrive for early morning shifts.
• Prior experience working in high-volume bakery production, banquet production kitchen, restaurant kitchen, or similar environment is helpful, but we are open to training ambitious candidates who have a demonstrated interest in working as a bakery production team member. Prior baking or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Prior experience using a sheeter and working with croissant is preferred.
