Position Summary:
Assists with planning and oversight for activities concerning the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Devises sampling procedures, and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliable data.
- Works on establishing a program to evaluate analytical testing, equipment, facilities, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing.
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
- Engineering knowledge
- Mechanical manufacturing methods, procedures, and quality
- Time management and prioritization abilities
- Basic Microsoft Office
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment
- Manufacturing Environment
- May lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting for long periods of time
- Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on a computer
