What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Management Officer position at Fox Communities Credit Union?
We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time (40 hrs./wk.) Treasury Management Officer based out of our Calumet Street Branch in Appleton or our West De Pere branch! After initial onboarding onsite, this position could have the opportunity for hybrid (3 days onsite/week, 2 remote) work consideration. However, candidates must reside in Wisconsin to be considered.
The Treasury Management Officer position is responsible for developing and expanding our treasury management relationships with the business community and existing members. This position develops leads, handles referrals, and partners with commercial relationship managers. The treasury management position helps coordinate sales, and internal implementation and serves as a direct contact for members.
The primary responsibilities of the Treasury Management Officer role include but are not limited to:
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Understanding the treasury management products offered and answering questions regarding the products and services offered, including, but not limited to: business online banking, check and ACH positive pay, commercial account analysis, ACH services, sweeps, merchant services and remote deposit capture
- Assisting the commercial team in developing and expanding treasury management relationships
- Assisting with training team members, beyond the treasury management team, on treasury management products and services
- Serving as a direct contact for members to facilitate a complete service delivery process
- Providing timely responses and follow-up to members
- Interfacing with team members internally to answer questions and educate on existing products
- Serving as a liaison between the commercial team and Member Payment Services, the Operations Team, and members
- Backing-up Treasury Management Associate for new business member account openings, account analysis/account reviews and account maintenance
- Taking on internal referrals regarding any treasury management product
- Participating in commercial team meetings and treasury management meetings
- Taking sales calls with members and occasionally going out on sales calls/meetings with commercial relationship managers
Candidates for the Treasury Management Officer position should possess:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two to three years of experience in the financial institution industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication by phone
- Ability to navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously
- Ability to stay organized and multitask while prioritizing work
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to speak and translate fluent Spanish, a plus
