What are the responsibilities and job description for the College Admissions Representative position at Fox College?
Fox College is a small, private associate degree college in Illinois, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. This position is located at our Tinley Park, IL campus.
Bring your sales experience to our full-time, in-person career opportunity, where you will help others realize the benefits of graduating from an associate degree program. We currently seek a seasoned professional to promote our school by conducting interviews, touring, and assisting applicants in understanding and completing admissions requirements.
Candidates must be results-oriented and have good verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for those with strong interpersonal skills who can influence others and function well as team members. Candidates should also be able to work with people from a variety of educational and life backgrounds, demonstrate a commitment to regulatory and college admission policies, standards, and procedures, and possess basic skills in the use of computerized systems.
Qualified candidates will ideally have a minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience. An associate’s degree is preferred. In return for your skills, we offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes company-subsidized medical insurance and a 401(k).
Responsibilities include:
-- Interview prospective students for motivation, ability, and interest.
-- Explain all admission criteria and provide prospects with accurate information on history, structure, program(s), placement, tuition, and fees.
-- Ensure a successful transition into the college through continuous contact with applicants.
-- Provide continuous information to applicants and their families on enrollment and financial aid/scholarship issues.
-- Participate in all school events, including but not limited to orientations, scholarship events, graduations, college fairs, etc.
-- Assist with day-to-day operations in the admissions department.
-- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
-- Looking for someone who has a sales employment history or education.
-- Looking for someone highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
-- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
-- Candidate should be able to multitask and work with strict deadlines.
-- Strong computer skills with MS Office applications.
